Rash Guard at the beach?
i’m skinny but my “man boobs” are somewhat biggish, but i would be fine without a shirt off. I would feel more comfortable wearing a rash guard like..

im also fair-skinned so it would help fight against the sun. Is it weird to wear one of these? i surf and will probably be skim boarding too.

If you have body issues, wear a rash guard. There is no sense in going to the beach (to have FUN) if you are uncomfortable or self conscious. Plus, rash guards offer UV protection, so you have another good reason to wear it.
PS on that last question popout does not mean it’s made with epoxy resin. They were making “popouts’ back in my day, before anybody ever thought of coating a surfboard in anything other than polyester resin. The term popout refers to cheaply made, mass produced boards of any type. The POS Challenger my son bought 15 years ago was a regular fiberglass (polyester resin) board. Go toe another shop, those dudes are too eager to make a sale.
