Boat Cover

How do you build an A-frame to cover a boat for the winter???
fyi I do not own a boat my aunt wants to know. (I don’t even like boats because I get sea sick)
p.s. If you need any further information about ask me and i’ll ask my aunt because I know nothing about boats lol.
this is the short overview
you will need some materials and here is a list.
2×4x8
1×2x8
#8 common nails
staple gun and staples
plastic sheeting
help from friend
Build 3 “A” frames. You can do this by placing the 2×4’s on the ground and nail them together at the top.
after you build the “A” frames place one in middle of the boat and one 8 foot from the middle, and nail a 2×4 across the top. Place another “A” frame at the opposite end and nail another 2×4 across the top.
Arrange them so they are supporting each other. ( tilt the ends out so they lean in on each other ) after you have them where you want them finish nailing them so the structure is rigid.
Now connect the bottoms with 2×4 by nailing them. nail a 2×4 across the front and rear also.
take the plastic and drape it over the top and center it. Staple it in place. Now if there are any openings on the sides cover this area with plastic. Overlap the plastic so the first peice you stapled overlaps the lower section.
Now take the 1×2’s and nail them to the sides of the 2×4’s. ( nailing them perpendicular to the 2×4’s pinching the plastic between the two pieces of wood.
